Due to space limitations $5 (refundable if you show up!) reservation fee is required per class. Your RSVP fee will be refunded in cash when you show up for your session.

Fit Booty Blast


Location: Fit Expectations, 251 New Karner Rd, Colonie

Group Size: 10 people MAX!

Difficulty Level: Easy/Beginner - Moderately Challenging/Beginner-Intermediate

 

This class has two levels, beginner & beginner-intermediate. The primary difference between the two will be the length of time you will be performing the higher intensity exercises.

 

* A light to moderate intensity 50 minute full body workout. Appropriate for all fitness levels.

 

* A full body, circuit style, resistance weight training workout where you move from one exercise to the next.

 

* We will be working with light to moderate weights, resistance bands, and various other fitness equipment.

 

* Work smarter, not harder! Moderate intensity exercises are paired with lower intensity - giving you time to catch your breath while still moving - so that you burn MORE calories not only during your workout but AFTER as well!

 

* Fit Club workouts are custom designed based on the abilities and specific needs of group members. We keep our class sizes small so that you receive the individualized attention and guidance you deserve!

 

* You WILL be encouraged to step outside of your comfort zone physically AND mentally!! The changes you seek will not come otherwise!

 



Beginner Fitness



Location: Fit Expectations, 251 New Karner Rd, Colonie

Difficulty Level: Easy/Beginner to Moderate
Group Size:  6 people MAX!


* A light to semi moderate intensity 45 minute full body workout. Workouts become progressively more challenging as we improve strength, stamina and flexibility.

 

* We will focus on increasing cardiovascular fitness, improving posture, strengthening core/lower back, alleviating joint pain (hips, neck, shoulders, back, neck, knees etc.) and proper exercise form/technique.

 

* We will be working with light to moderate weights, resistance bands, and various other fitness equipment.

 

* Fit Club workouts are custom designed based on the abilities and specific needs of group members. Beginner level classes are limited to a maximum of SIX participants in order to allow personal training staff ample opportunity to assist you and assure you are getting the absolute BEST workout possible!

 

The primary goal for this class is to empower you and help you gain confidence! We will get your body and mind primed and ready to increase your activity level as your fitness level and confidence improves.

 

What it is NOT

 

* We will NOT be engaging in high intensity activities such as running or jumping - though these workouts may still feel moderately difficult if you've been inactive for a while!

 

* Not the typical boot camp style workout or group fitness class offered in gyms and various outdoor locations where you do the same workout each session and spend most of the time repeating the same exercises over and over.

 

* Not a lesson in how to trip trip over yourself while trying to follow a group instructor and keep up with other's who've been taking the class for months!

 

* No more feeling embarrassed about the inability to perform to the level of more experienced and/or physically fit participants because sooner than you think - you will be one of them!



AbTastic



Location: Fit Expectations, 251 New Karner Rd, Colonie

Difficulty Level: HARD!  Intermediate to Advanced Cardiovascular Fitness Level Required
Group Size:  10 people MAX!


* A HIGH intensity 45 minute cardiovascular workout designed to burn TONS of fat, calories, and tone and strengthen the core abdominal muscles.

 

* A fun mix of calisthenics, plyometrics (jumping!) circuit training, Bosu, aerobic step, and stability ball training.
